On a recent trip to Pakistan, Suroosh Alvi of VBS.TV uncovers some undeniable truths about the War on Terror and the toll its taking on not only America, but also neighboring Pakistan.

Guns, militants, suicide bombings, and refugees are increasingly becoming a part of daily life in Pakistan as a result of the war in Afghanistan. This means not only the indoctrination of people on the ground, but more specifically, the growing number of Pakistani youths who are supporting the Taliban movement. Alvi argues that the War on Terror is not at all eliminating terror, but it is actually increasing anger amongst the people and creating more crime and conflict than could be imagined.

The people of Pakistan are becoming increasingly more sympathetic towards the Taliban movement, which has been of great assistance during times of flood and disaster. Watch this video of Alvi interviewing some of the people affected by the floods who express their opinion on the Taliban.
