DIY Network's The Vanilla Ice Project debuted on HGTV last night and many Home and Garden-loving Twitterers, never having heard of the show, took to the internets ruing their hallowed net's fall. But Rob Van Winkle changed their minds.

Two HGTV-promo filled house-flipping episodes aired back-to-back, and to say loyal viewers were skeptical about the whole enterprise is putting it mighty mildly. What they didn't know is that the breakout series has already been picked up for Season 2, deservedly, considering how informative and punk rock it is.
