There's been so much creativity unleashed by New York's recent snowstorm that a film festival may be in order. If so, put Chris Branca's ski stunt video on the shortlist for a jury prize.

It might lack the poignant artistry of the meticulously edited snowpocalypse study "Idiot with a Tripod," but what Branca's "Skiing down Park Avenue" lacks in polish it compensates for in novely and chutzpah. The Flatiron resident tells Daily Intel that the car towing him down Park Ave between 34th and 26th Streets and then 28th and 23rd Sunday night was doing a full 40 mph. That might not net him an Oscar nod, but is a Roger Ebert blog entry too much to hope for?
