In the 1970s, the U.S. Navy produced this educational video warning against the dangers of syphilis. Rather than make a boring old film strip, they recruited Count Spirochete, the VD vampire, and showed him— literally—crawling into a lady's vagina.

Armed With Science, a Defense Department blog that gets to rifle through the Pentagon's video archives for stuff like this, has resurrected Count Spirochete from the dustbin of hilariously misguided military training videos: "I don't want to spoil anything, but the rest of the video will take you on a whirlwind journey through the historical facts, symptoms, course of infection, and the impact of venereal disease on the human body as it was understood in the early 1970s. You'll have you see it for yourself."
