Michael Brea, a Brooklyn resident and former bit player on Ugly Betty, gave a crazy interview to the Daily News in which he says he stabbed his mother to death with a sword because she was possessed. What the heck?

Brea, who from the transcript is obviously very mentally ill, also talks about how Freemasons were involved in the murder, how he thought his mother was practicing black magic when she boiled some chickens, why he feels like Neo in The Matrix, and why he was really just doing "God's work" by killing his mother.

I was sleeping in my bedroom. God came above my bed and reached his arm to me. I said, 'God, is my time on earth over?' I heard a voice say, 'Yes Michael, today is your last day.' I asked if I could say goodbye to my family.

Naturally, Brea gave the interview from Bellevue, where he clearly belongs.
