In TV News...

  • On Friday, Fox announced a new Spring schedule. Among the changes, a few stood out: American Idol will move to Wednesdays and Thursdays, bumping Fringe to Friday (which is terrible news because TV shows die there.) Additionally, the new cartoon Bob's Burger will air after The Simpsons and American Dad will move to 7:30pm on Sundays. Don't worry, your precious Glee isn't moving anywhere — but it seems as though we won't be seeing much more of Running Wilde. [Hit Fix]
  • Lost's Jorge Garcia is teaming up with J.J. Abrams once more for a new Fox drama called Alcatraz about "a group of missing Alcatraz prisoners and guards who reappear in the present day." As long as the time-traveling is real and not some Lost finale faux-purgatory thing, this should be awesome! [Deadline]
