A rescue mission in Atlanta goes awry for the survivors on The Walking Dead. Instead of finding Merle Dixon, Rick and company find a group of humans hellbent on survival. Maybe zombies are the least of the group's worries.

These new survivors (sort of like the Others on Lost) clash with the gang over a bag of weapons in the street.

While Rick and friends get the bag and a hostage, the new survivors capture Glenn. While discussing the terms of exchange, a surprise guest changes the discussion between the two groups.

Thinking Rick still has authority, the woman shows him the fortified care facility where the new survivors make their home. In retrospect, a shootout probably would not have gone very well.
