John Slattery Plays a Ridiculous Congressional Candidate on 30 Rock
Following in the steps of Jon Hamm, John Slattery used 30 Rock to distance himself from Mad Men's Roger Sterling. Enter Steve Austin: an independent wack-job candidate running for Rhode Island's congressional seat, with no relation to the wrestler.
Jack decides to help Steve Austin in his race because his opponent happens to be the congressional hopeful that's giving him grey hairs (played by Queen Latifah.) Here's an example of his campaign ads before Jack got his hands on him.

So, Jack sets him up with a crew and lets him go "off the cuff" at the cameras.

Eventually, Jack decides that he should play by the rules, and send Steve Austin back to Rhode Island to (probably) lose the race. But not before we get to see what all of the above green-screen action would lead to:
