Desert Hearts is not your run of the mill Gay Western. It takes place in 1959 and after twelve years of marriage Vivian Bell has come to Reno to claim residency in order to get a divorce.

You know, like Betty Draper in Mad Men but instead of marrying some stuffy politician she meets a sexy cowgirl named Kay and they fall in love. Its beautifully done, and a classic.
