A cosmetic surgeon in Florida (where else?) is now injecting people's blood into their faces to keep them looking beautiful and wrinkle-free. And you can go out during daylight hours too!

Dr Julio F. Gallo's Vampire Filler is used similarly to other fillers like Juvederm. The doctor takes patient's blood and puts it in centrifuge to create platelet-rich plasma. That is then injected right into the face to smooth out the surface. It costs $1,000 a treatment and lasts about 18 months, about twice as long as traditional fillers. Because it's made of the patient's own cells, it also doesn't cause allergic reactions unlike synthetic products. So far feedback from patients has been excellent, but no studies have been done about their exposure to garlic or crucifixes.
