Bill O'Reilly angered the ladies of The View so much this morning that Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar stormed off the set. Why? O'Reilly said that he and Americans opposed the Ground Zero Mosque because "Muslims killed us on 9/11."

Joy Behar hasn't been this angry since she found out Perez Hilton tweeted pictures of Miley Cyrus' privates! But, unfortunately, this is the perfect recipe for a lecture from Bill O'Reilly on political correctness, and he delivered one on The Factor tonight. Here's how he described the incident to a Liberal guest on his show:

I didn't mean to denigrate the Muslim religion, but I accurately described who attacked us on 9/11, causing two very Liberal women to walk off the set. I'm still amazed!

Of course, O'Reilly was using the events of 9/11 to make the case against the Muslim community center near Ground Zero, which, yes, actually does denigrate the religion. But Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg, geniuses both of them, walked out in the middle of O'Reilly's rant and now he's able to make himself the victim of a vicious tasing at the hands of the Word Police.

What's wrong with calling the 9/11 terrorists "Muslims," O'Reilly asks his guest Laura Ingraham?

After 10 years, we got it. We know the difference between peace-abiding muslims and those who wage war under the banner of islam.

And yet Muslims playing ping pong in the shadow of the towers is a victory for Osama Bin Laden.

Takeway from this incident: The only thing Bill O'Reilly likes better than being listened to is being walked out on. So if you end up hosting a morning television program and he's the guest, just ignore him completely, or ask him boring questions about Twitter or something. [Video via Mediaite]
