Looks like longtime Page Six boss Richard Johnson is leaving Page Six for LA after all. But not to work for the Hollywood Reporter, whose $1 million offer Johnson had to turn down because of his contract with the Post.

Instead, Johnson will remain with News Corp., working on "new digital ventures" in Los Angeles, according to the Post. Oooh, what could that be? Hopefully not a redux of Pagesix.com, the column's ill-fated spin-off website.

Post Editor-in-Chief Col Allan says Page Six is "only going to get better" under Johnson's replacement, Emily Smith. (Smith joined Page Six last year.) Meanwhile, the Post's exodus of high-profile staffers fleeing Allan's overbearing management style only gets worse.
