CNBC guy Larry Kudlow simply did not care for the bear-hug Barack Obama and Rahm Emanuel exchanged on Friday. It showed weakness, Kudlow writes, in a stupid column. "Our friends and enemies were all watching." Are the terrorists unstoppable now?

Kudlow, who's really scraping the bottom with this contribution to Andrew Breitbart's Big Government site, basically thinks the hug was gay. And gay on "global television," of all places! A full six billion humans were watching this on the enormous global television in the sky.

Remember, this is on global television. And it has to do with the very top of the United States government. Our friends and enemies were all watching.

I think the hug lacked dignity. It did not send a message of American power and forcefulness. So I fret about the reaction around the world to this kind of fraternity-like emotionalism in full public view.

What would Reagan have done?

Why not just a dignified, stand-up, serious handshake? That's what Reagan would have done.

Wrong. Ronald Reagan would've punched Rahm Emanuel in his fuckin' face, right there, to prove his manliness. And Emanuel would've punched back. And then they'd punch each other for like 10 minutes — "dignified, stand-up, serious" punches, just beating the crap out of each other. That's how to send a message to the terrorists. This is how the civilized world behaves, Osama.
