David Paterson: I'll Start Doing Nice Things in Three Months
New York Governor David Paterson is leaving office soon, and he's already apologizing for screwing people over. But it wasn't all his fault, because "It's really hard to think of what you want to do when you are still working."
Seriously, who has time to think and execute sound policies while they're still working? The poor guy just needs some breathing room and then he can set everything right. Paterson was speaking to reporters yesterday when he said, "I'd like to go back and advocate for some of the areas that I wasn't able to service well because of the economic crisis as governor." How nice of the governor! He's out of office on December 31, and as soon as he's gone, he promises to stop being a dick and start helping people. Just wait.
