A bitter 24-year-old former Domino's Pizza employee from the Bronx, Jamal Thomas, was arrested Friday for allegedly setting fire to two Domino's locations and inflicting $1 million in damages. Naturally, he used pizza boxes as fire starters.

According to court papers obtained by the Daily News, Thomas said after he was fired, "Domino's is a terrible place to work. They didn't treat me right. They are terrible to the workers. I was punched at work and nobody helped me." He was allegedly upset after being beaten up outside the Domino's where he worked in the Bronx and no one helped him. He was fired after the incident because he left the store unlocked while he brawled outside and his co-workers counted cash inside.

To scope out the storefronts, Thomas wore his Domino's uniform and told people he was from a special employee satisfaction unit working for the pizza chain. Then, on August 22 and again on September 5, he entered two Domino's chains early in the morning, set fire to stacks of pizza boxes and left. Thomas was caught after police reviewed surveillance videos, and was arrested in his car with a .357 caliber pistol.
