It's strange to see the notable cast of Bored to Death (Jason Schwartzman, Zach Galifianakis, Ted Danson) sharing screentime with the actual family of Bored to Death creator Jonathan Ames.

The following clip suggests the basic HBO protocal consists of the Bored to Death actors sitting around smoking "imaginary" marijuana while Ma and Pa Ames serve cookies and deliver life lessons... Meanwhile the author, creator, and direct inspiration for protagonist runs around town on his scooter in fancyman clothes. Whatever it is they're trying to convey here, season two of Bored to Death is coming (Sept 26) and that's exciting assuming it's as good as season 1.

Hope these guys aren't fooling around too much, let us not forget the Californication-Season-2 Fiasco of 2008.
