23-year-old Liu Wei blew away the competition on China's Got Talent last week when he played "Mariage D'amour" perfectly on the piano. But the odds are stacked against Liu: He has no arms and plays the piano with his feet.

Liu was 10 years old when he was electrocuted by a high-voltage wire and had both of his arms amputated. He told Shanghai Daily about how he pulled himself together:

For people like me, there were only two options. One was to abandon all dreams, which would lead to a quick, hopeless death; the other was to struggle without arms to live an outstanding life."

At 18, Liu studied music theory for a year. Now he's playing piano to an audience of millions.
