Tonight marked the end of the seventh season of So You Think You Can Dance. They laughed! They cried! They danced! But, most importantly, Ellen danced. With Twitch. In a hip-hop number paying homage to the gone-too-soon, Alex Wong. OMFG.

For over two hours, SYTYCD fans were force fed filler montages rife with cheesy inside jokes and other crap that most people don't care about. Amid all this, we were promised a "dance superstar" all night long. Literally. Every commercial break Cat Deeley would put on her cutesy face and remind us to stay tuned through all the fluff and one hit wonder performances, for the payoff would be great. And great it was.

Screw the favorite judge dances. Screw the winners. (SPOILER ALERT: It was Lauren, yay!) Hell, screw the fact that Mary Murphy was back in the crazy chair for the night chirping about the Hot Tamale Train like she wasn't sent to some asylum for pyscho judges with Paula Abdul last year. The entire two hours led up to the most epic performance ever danced on the SYTYCD stage.

Picture it: A leather clad Ellen, getting down and dirty with SYTYCD alum, Twitch, (who also happened to be in Step Up: 3D, for the five of you who saw it. See! There is work after this show!), doing a lighter version of the very same number that caused Adam Shankman to lose his shit earlier in the season. Yup.

Honestly, nothing I say will do this clip justice. So, just watch and love it. Watch and love.

Did I mention she's 52?! 52 years old and keeping up with the likes of Mr. Twitch. If that's not awesome, I don't know what is.
