White House Party Crasher Says Whoopi Goldberg 'Abused' Her
White House Party Crasher Michaele Salahi is accusing Whoopi Goldberg of "outrageous abuse" for bursting into Salahi's dressing room after her appearance on The View and "screaming and dropping the F-bomb." Outrageous!
Salahi, a demure woman with no interest in generating further publicity for herself, the book about her, or the reality TV show in which she stars, told The Daily Beast that it all started when Whoopi emerged from backstage during a taping, "grabbed" her arm, and said, "I'm going to murder you." No, wait—she said, "Move on, move on! Get to the White House!" as in, "Talk about the thing you are famous for."
But it didn't end there! After the taping, Whoopi "burst in" on Salahi and her husband Tareq and "screamed" "I didn't fucking hit you! Did you say I fucking hit you?" According to Salahi's lawyer, Whoopi even dropped "the F-bomb." The F-bomb! Luckily, Tareq had his BlackBerry with him, and made sure to film "the last few seconds" of the intense F-bomb dropping. A message quickly appeared on the Salahis' Facebook page:
Salahis will address on Thursday Morning LIVE on National TV the outrageous abuse and exchange that took place on the ABC Show the View and a [sic] audio & video file from Whoopi Goldberg verbal attack to Michaele. Standby for details…
The post appears to have been taken down, so if you are still standingby for details, I recommend you stop. The Salahis will be on Today tomorrow; ABC issued a statement saying that Whoopi had a "heated exchange" with the Salahis.
