Today, James Franco's character was chased up a flight of stairs—waving a gun and laughing—and fell off a balcony to his bloody death while a drag queen spoke the lyrics to Gary Jules' "Mad World." This isn't edited.

I'm just glad that I happened to have ABC on to catch this. If it hadn't been for the drag queen speaking "Mad World" to begin with, I never would have noticed that the man who fell to his death, lying in a pool of blood, was actually Franco.
