Rush Limbaugh is mad as hell at "poor old Shep Smith" and Fox News for falling into a carefully orchestrated liberal trap over the Shirley Sherrod firing: "I hate the fact that these people put me in a bad mood."

And you know what happens when Rush Limbaugh is in a bad mood... he acts like Rush Limbaugh. America's angriest pill head is livid that "even Fox caved on this" Shirley Sherrod story — a story that was broken by right wing hero Andrew Breitbart. How dare they? Yesterday on his show, Rush called these turncoats out:

It's nothing more than the left playing the race card, the NAACP has thrown down the gauntlet because the big government argument has failed," Limbaugh said. "They are keeping alive the divisions in this country and I hate taking the bait, I hate playing along with it, I simply despise the whole thing. We've got a bunch of cowards in the conservative media inside the beltway which will not deal with this honestly."

And on the discrimination lawsuit filed against the Agriculture Department, Rush stays classy as always: "This is just reparations under a different name."
