Jolly old Newt Gingrich decided it's time to join the fracas over the proposed mosque two blocks away from Ground Zero by issuing a NEWT DIRECT alert on his website: America is facing an "Islamist cultural-political offensive"!

Gingrich, political opportunist and author of bad historical fiction, wastes no time pointing out that the name Cordoba House is actually a sneaky code word to unite terrorists who are hell bent on establishing a caliphate on American soil. And how dare those Muslims preach tolerance to good Christians:

Those Islamists and their apologists who argue for "religious toleration" are arrogantly dishonest. They ignore the fact that more than 100 mosques already exist in New York City. Meanwhile, there are no churches or synagogues in all of Saudi Arabia. In fact no Christian or Jew can even enter Mecca."

Them, they, those dang Muslims... The Other. That shit is spooky to the white man! So by Newt's logic, if They are allowed to build a mosque two blocks away from the World Trade Center, then we are just setting ourselves up to be taken down:

America is experiencing an Islamist cultural-political offensive designed to undermine and destroy our civilization. Sadly, too many of our elites are the willing apologists for those who would destroy them if they could.

No mosque.

No self deception.

No surrender.

The time to take a stand is now - at this site on this issue.

Newt means business this time. If anything, at least he got his point across without launching an assault on the English language, like Sarah Palin did. So he gets points for that.
