Series Premiere of Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated Full of Monsters, Traps, and Teen Angst
The times have changed, the gadgets are more modern, there's love in the air, yet Fred still wears an ascot. In its 11th incarnation not much has changed for the lovable band of super sleuths on Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated.
The show's debut was sort of a return to its glory days with a little more teen angst thrown in. To keep up with the modern times there's more "drama" involved within the gang as they start to be vocal about their feelings for each other. Velma and Shaggy like each other, Daphne is vying for an oblivious Fred's attention, and Scooby loves to eat.
Don't worry—there's a whole new batch of "monsters," traps, and mysteries as well as some locket that may or may not be important in solving a bigger mystery about the town of Crystal Grove. Oh, and there were no clouds of smoke to be found in or around the Mystery Machine.
Matthew Lillard steps in for Casey Kasem as the voice of Norville "Shaggy" Rogers. Kasem is not to be outdone as he plays the voice of Shaggy's father, Samuel Chastain Rogers. Rounding out the all star cast are Gary Cole, Vivica A. Fox, and Patrick Warburton who lend their vocal talents to various citizens of Crystal Grove.
