Russian Spy Suspect Skips Bail in Cyprus, Still Missing
The 11th suspect in the Russian spy case, Christopher Robert Metsos, who was arrested and released on bail in Cyprus on Tuesday, surprisingly didn't show up the next day to speak with police. A manhunt is now underway.
Mestos, who claims to be Canadian, was arrested Tuesday in Cyprus while trying to board a plane bound for Hungary (and this didn't tip off Cypriot police that he might be a flight risk?). He has not been seen since he was released on $33,000 bail. The 54-year-old Mestos was arrested for allegedly being the spy ring's main supply of cash.
