The Real World returned (to New Orleans!) tonight for its latest season. The premiere introduced us to the cast, including Ryan, a hairdresser from Arizona who wears a "purity ring" and doesn't like when his masculinity is questioned. Video inside.

When the cast decided to hit up a gay bar on Bourbon Street, Ryan had no problem accepting drinks from the bar's gay host—that is, until he received a kiss on the neck from said gay man. Preston (this season's only gay cast member—that we know of) joked that Ryan had "gay cooties" and would become gay from the kiss (which is scientifically accurate, obviously) and, well, Ryan wasn't too happy to hear that. Watch as he flips out and says he feels "killing himself" when he's touched by a gay man.
