Oh sure, why not speculate: things do not look happy for Bud Light Lime lover Stanley McChrystal, huh? Note how Obama is very clear that no matter which general is in charge, the point is that we must Win Afghanistan. Actually he doesn't even go that far — he just says the goal is to stop Al Qaeda from harming Americans. Take that as an acknowledgment of the war in Afghanistan's dim prospects. Jesus. Ugh. We'll see what happens tomorrow, after the terribly awkward Obama-McChrystal meeting.
