Eastbound and Down Season Two is F*cking In
Danny McBride will once again pick up the mantle of big league has-been Kenny Powers when Eastbound and Down returns for a second HBO season on September 26. Here's a teaser trailer for the new season.
Following up it's successful freshman season which lasted only six episodes, season two will take Kenny down to Mexico where he joins up with a minor league farm team. Living in self-imposed exile after failing to make the Tampa squad, Powers looks to regain his former glory as an elite pitcher by any means necessary. Expect a casting shakeup as the new location will introduce us to characters played by Michael Pena and Ana de la Reguera and limit the roles of season one regulars. In case the trailer wasn't enough to hold you over for the next few months, here's a look back at the Kenny Powers' self produced workout video.
