According to Politics Daily a protester who claims he was abused by a Catholic priest has been treated to regular tirades of abuse and denigration by Archbishop Pietro Sambi, the Vatican's ambassador to the United States.

John Wojnowski, 67, has been picketing the Apostolic Nunciature, the Vatican's embassy in DC and the place where Archbishop Sambi, 71, lives and works, since 1998. He claims he was abused in 1958, in Italy, and seeks compensation and an apology:

At age 15, while on summer holiday with his brothers in the Piedmont village of Cuzzago, Wojnowski says, a "priest offered to help me with Latin and called me into the rectory. He started touching my knee and my crotch and told me to masturbate in front of him. I ran away. That is all I remember. But I was totally crushed. I thought I ruined my life forever. After that my personality changed. My appearance changed. I became depressed and withdrawn. I did not know why.

Sambi, who passes Wojnowski on a regular basis, has not exactly been sympathetic. In Italian, a language the two men both speak, Wojnowski claims he's thrown out the following insults:
