Yesterday's Wall Street Chaos Captured in Audio
Today marks the second day of Wall Street jitters, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropping 350 points this morning before rebounding somewhat this afternoon. It doesn't compare to the freakout that unfolded yesterday, though.
Listen to the panic in this veteran financial reporter's voice during yesterday's incident:
That's Ben Lichtenstein, who's been reporting from the S&P 500 trading pit for Tradersaudio.com for a decade. He is freaking out! It gets very crazy a couple minutes in. We have no idea what he's talking about, but it certainly backs up Zero Hedge's claim that yesterday witnessed "the most shocking 15 minutes in recent market history." If this guy was any more shocked, his head would pop off. Let's hope this all calms down by the weekend—for Ben's sake. [ZeroHedge]
