Eleven year old Nadia Bloom spent four days lost in a thick, alligator infested Florida swamp before being rescued. This morning she told Robin Roberts about how she survived, and how her friends welcomed her back to school.

She apparently was inspired to venture out to explore nature after reading an American Girl book about an intrepid young explorer. The fact that she starts off the interview with how excited she was to get a lobster rubber band trumps all.
