Cartoon Wars Spread to Palestine and Israel Conflict
First South Park upset a bunch of Triscuit-hating Islamic extremists. Now Palestinian militants Hamas have released a cartoon urging Israel to negotiate for the return of Gilad Schalit, a soldier they've held captive for nearly four years.
The Associated Press report that the animated cartoon ends with Shalit in a coffin and the words "there is still hope," implying that unless Israel accepts demands to release Hamas prisoners in exchange for the soldier, he will be killed.
We can't find the new cartoon online, but it's not the first time Hamas has used animation as part of its propaganda machine. Here's a similar video from 2009:
