Erin Fetherston
From behind her platinum bangs, publicity adorer Fetherston designs frocks for fellow pixie-ish young things.
Born and raised in northern California, Fetherston received a visual arts degree from UC Berkeley in 2002. She studied fashion at Parson's post-graduate design program in Paris, where she debuted her first collection at the Haute Couture shows in 2005.
Fetherston is famous for her whimsical creations, appealing to a cult of doe-eyed celebrities including Zooey Deschanel, Kirsten Dunst, Anne Hathaway, and Winona Ryder. Recipient of the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation Award in 2007, she was also finalist for the 2007 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award and in 2009 was named a member of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award.
Fetherston's popular designs are sold at high end retailers in the US and abroad. She was also the 9th designer featured in Target's popular GO Designer program, where high-end fashion designers create affordable ready-to-wear clothes for the masses.
