A onetime news anchor and TV reporter, Hanover is most famous for having been married to Rudy Giuliani for 18 years and bearing his two children.

The daughter of a Navy lieutenant, California-born Donna Anna Kofnovec attended journalism school at Columbia before getting her start as a radio reporter, later transitioning to on-air reporter gigs at stations in Pennsylvania and Florida. It was while working in Miami in 1984 that she first met Giuliani; he proposed just six weeks later. After tying the knot with Rudy-who was then a federal prosecutor-and moving to New York, Hanover worked as an anchor on WPIX Channel 11, quitting the gig in 1989 when Rudy ran for mayor the first time. When he was elected on his second try in 1994, she returned to TV as a Fox 5 reporter and later hosted a show on the Food Network. She's also had acting roles in various movies and TV shows over the years, including The People vs. Larry Flynt, Law & Order, Sex and the City, and One Life to Live.

Hanover and Guiliani entered into a nasty public divorce in 2000 — it was settled two years later and Hanover was awarded $6.8 million and custody of their two children. In 2003, Hanover tied the knot with Ed Oster, her high school sweetheart. She later published a book about reuniting with her old flame entitled My Boyfriend's Back. The reunited duo split their time between New York and California. [Image via Getty]
