Bill O'Reilly is the hot-headed conservative TV host of The O'Reilly Factor, currently rated the most-watched news program on cable TV. He has also dabbled in semi-pro baseball, writing, and allegedly, the art of sexual harassment.

Contrary to O'Reilly's public persona as "the common man," the mega-millionaire commentator grew up in Long Island—where he attended a prestigious parochial high school (fellow alums: former NBC chair Bob Wright and former IBM CEO Lou Gerstner)— and holds two masters degrees from Boston University and Harvard. After finding success at local stations, O'Reilly moved on to ABC and CBS News, including six years as an anchor for the entertainment news show, Inside Edition. In 1996, O'Reilly linked up with Fox News creator Roger Ailes to host what eventually became the uber-successful O'Reilly Factor; he's been there ever since. O'Reilly is also the author of 9 political books (10 including his sexual revenge fantasy thriller), which are more or less incestual versions of each other.

Among detractors and critics, O'Reilly is best known for his frequent outbursts on TV, tendency to misrepresent facts, and longstanding beefs with the likes of Nick Kristof, Keith Olbermann, Jon Stewart, and this kid.

O'Reilly lives in Manhasset, New York with wife, Maureen McPhilmy, and their two children.
