In 1993 the French mailed this to the good people at ABC:

And the right-minded ABC producers couldn't have been less happy. ABC had slated The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog to air on Saturday Mornings, but realizing the show was second rate, they contacted DiC Entertainment and asked that a new cartoon be made. An improved Sonic the Hedgehog was constructed, and on Saturdays a darker and deeper and just plain BETTER Saturday morning cartoon was made. The first version was released the same month as a weekday afternoon show, but it would never see the light of the hallowed weekend slot.

So Here it is. The good one. The one truly worth seeing. Enjoy:
