Hello! It's time for this week's American Idol performance episode. Tonight, the Top 9 will sing John Lennon and Paul McCartney songs live for your votes from 8:00 to 10:00 PM ET on FOX. More inside, plus your open thread.
As mentioned above, tonight's show features our Top 9 performing live for our votes. The show starts at 8:00 PM ET, airs on FOX, and will run for two hours. The theme for tonight's episode is the music of John Lennon and Paul McCartney (poor George and Ringo). Unless I missed the news, though, no mentor has yet to be announced.
