Police Identify Manhattan Luxury Burglar Suspect
A mysterious figure has been breaking into luxury boutiques in the early hours of the morning and stealing only the finest luxury goods like $260 jeans and $23,000 of designer sunglasses.
We were hoping to describe the luxury robber as a catburglar. But, report the New York Times, he crowbars the doors or smashes the windows of stores like Michael Kors, Jean Shop and Marc Jacobs grabs what he can and runs. Which is not very cat-like.
Police say Mark Perkins, 49, pictured, is a suspect. His DNA was found at one of the crime scenes, and he may have accomplices. Be vigilant with your luxury goods, people. The recovery means burglars are going high-end.
