Brooklyn native Martin Raskin attended P.S. 202 in East New York from 1946-1955. Now he's obsessed with collecting memorabilia from his old school. How obsessed? Buttocks obsessed.

"[P.S. 202 principal Charles Eichel] was an idol in East New York," recalled Mr. Raskin, who displayed one of his special finds, an old envelope of the East New York Savings Bank on which Dr. Eichel had written in fountain pen ink the heading "File Accident Reports," dated Friday, March 13, 1942, and the note "Sat down in my office chair - 258 - splinter entered my buttocks - cleaned it with yellow soap and applied iodine."

Sealed inside was the very splinter.

Now you understand.
