Ganzi is the former CEO of Hearst Corporation, the media conglomerate that owns three dozen newspapers, two dozen television channels, 200 magazines, and a collection of websites. He stepped down in June 2008 after a dispute with the company's board. He was replaced temporarily by his predecessor, Frank Bennack.
