Academy Award-nominee Anne Hathaway: You've brought much joy to the world as the star of such films as The Princess Diaries and Rachel Getting Married (not so much for Valentine's Day) But now you must adopt this dog named Chuck.

People's special pets division spotted Anne Hathaway and her beau Adam Schulman at Molly's Mutts & Meows animal shelter in West Hollywood today, scoping out potential pets. While Molly's "won't confirm or comment on individual adoptions to respect the privacy of potential pet parents," People reports that "an onlooker at the park noted the pair were checking out a medium-sized terrier mix named Chuck." A visit to Molly's website shows that Anne Hathaway must adopt Chuck because Chuck is the best dog, like, ever.

Here is a video of Chuck:

OMG. ADORBS, RIGHT?

But, Anne, you should only adopt a pet after sufficiently thinking it over using your gorgeous, talented brain. This is why we have assembled a helpful list of pros and cons to help you come to the inevitable conclusion that, yes, Chuck will be your next pet to have and to hold and to maybe play bit parts in your upcoming movies.

PROS
•Up to date with shots.
•Housetrained.
•Endearing back story: "We pulled Chuck out of the South LA Shelter on Valentine's Day, 2010. We know a bit about Chuck's background too. His prior owners realy sucked. They had two unaltered Cane Corso dogs that were constantly attacking Chuck."
•Chuck "likes to go on walks."
•Chuck is a Terrier. According to Wikipedia, Terriers "are generally loyal and affectionate to their owners." (unlike that skeeze Raffaello Follieri!)
•Just look at him.
•PLEASE DON'T LET CHUCK DIE.
•Already neutered.

CONS
•His name is "Chuck." (Easily fixed.)

As of June 2008, Hathaway's publicist was PMK/HBH's Stephen Huvane. PMK/HBH's phone number is 212-[OK, redacted! Google it yourself.]

You know what to do.
