Was Toobin's Too-Hot-to-Print XXX 'Fixation' for Editor-to-the-Stars Judith Regan?
Once the floodgate to CNN anchor Jeffrey Toobin's sex life opens, the revelations don't stop. On Sunday we figured out the "vile" fetish the Daily News dared not name was probably anal. Now, news on the kiss-and-teller's identity: Judith Regan?
Above the Law's David Lat makes the case for Judith Regan, purveyor of big-money celebrity memoirs. (The "backdoor" to literary stardom, you could say.)
We hear it's none other than Judith Regan, the notorious book editor and publisher who made her name cranking out lowbrow celebrity autobiographies. Apparently Regan has been telling tales about Toobin for years.
Above the Law adds that Toobin mentioned giving "thanks for Judith Regan" in a 2007 Thanksgiving article, and that Regan's chatty reputation—particularly during her affair with Bernie Kerik and splashy firing from HarperCollins—doesn't do her any favors.
So, if it's all true: Toobin got a "no entry" to Judith Regan's backdoor. Judith Regan edited Drew Barrymore's memoir. Drew Barrymore was in Scream with Neve Campbell who was in Wild Things with Kevin Bacon. Four degrees! Toobin's predilection for poop shoots would prove that he's a star. [AboveTheLaw]
