Hello, gang! Here's hoping your week was free of the blues. And here's also hoping that, like an LA citrus tree in January, the Project Runway judging panel will get a little more orange again tonight.

I am referring (in case you haven't guessed) to my desire for the return of the orange man, Michael Kors. His unexplained absence from for the past two episodes has made me realize just how underappreciated his contribution to this show has been. Without him, the judging sucks — not only is it more boring, but it's often less sensible as well.

So I'd like to try out a little experiment during tonight's live blog (which, in case you're new to this party, kicks off down in comments section at 10 pm, when the show starts on Lifetime). Because Kors is renowned for resembling an Oompa Loompa (click here and compare), I suggest we all try singing the Oompa-Loompa Song tonight to see if that may somehow summon his return to the show. The first verse alone ought to do it, I think. Here are the lyrics:

Oompa Loompa doompadee doo

I've got another puzzle for you

Oompa Loompa doompadah dee

If you are wise you'll listen to me

So let's all croon that tune at around 10:40 pm tonight, and see if it doesn't successfully summon our "slutty slutty slutty" uttering buddy.

And while you practice the lines, I'll share a few highlights from last week's live blog. Once again, I've chosen simply to feature a few of the funniest comments offered up last week by the commenting crew, since you all are what make this live blog great (and because I was too lazy to write my own jokes this week). Here they are:

  • Spirit Fingers: Soooo this is the PacSun challenge. Will the runway show be at the mall?
  • youngmarblegiant: Even if the old black team loses, at least they will teach us something with their folksy wisdom.
  • Notes from the underwhelmed:An assless lace unitard would be so perfect if this were the Rock of Love challenge.
  • youngmarblegiant: You know this season is old because Rachel Bilson is still famous on this episode.
  • crookedE: Did Ra'mon play the meth card or something and we missed it?

As for tonight's edition, I have little to offer by way of previews, since Lifetime is so stingy with clips or information about upcoming episodes. All I do know is that the challenge will be one of those "the models are the clients" ones, where they have to design something their models (supposedly) will want/like. This is, of course, yet another attempt to make us care about the models and watch their lame Models of the Runway spinoff. And, although I will never care about the models, I'll probably watch that show tonight anyway because, when 11 pm rolls around, I'm usually too lazy and drunk to find the remote and change the channel. So I hope a few other lazy drunks will join me and live-blog that show too!

Ok gang, let's rest up those vocal chords, and I'll see you in the comments section at 10!
