Mad Men's Drink That Reminds You of a Floor Was Real
Last night the latest piece of business to drop into the offices of Mad Men's Sterling Cooper was Patio, the diet soda with possibly the worst name ever. Turns out Pepsi actually made the stuff back in 1963.
That's the same year this season of the show is set. And here's another Peggy Olson-related spoiler for next week's episode: They take Peggy's advice to ditch the name because ultimatley they changed it to Diet Pepsi in 1964. Still, Pepsi continued to produce different flavors of Patio throughout the '60s and '70s.
