Gara Post started making her own jewelry because she craved pieces that captured her personal sense of style: feminine, eclectic and heavily influenced by her upbringing in New York. Gara developed her sense of chic from an innate passion for the quality and handiwork of vintage jewelry she found in dusty shops and ramshackle flea markets. Gara softened her approach to design with a move to Los Angeles, dusting her palette with a laid-back and sun-drenched patina. The result is Gara Danielle Jewelry, a fusion of east coast precision and refinement with the ease and natural beauty of the west.

Originally from South Africa, Susan is clearly inspired by the colors and textures of her native landscape. Having grown up surrounded by so much natural beauty Susan is drawn to earthy, faceted semi-precious stones such as citrine, smokey quartz and topaz. Still, stones are just the backdrop of her work. Having studied art for many years, Susan's collections center around her love for design. She views her work simply as "a subtle balance between the design and the stones so that one does not overcome the other and a symbiosis is formed."
