The president finally let a few of these "newspapers" ask questions at his big TV news conference, and what happens? The New York Times asks a laughable question, and is mocked. Newbs.

Jeff Zeleny just learned that "let me write this down" is something you never want to hear the president say to you, live, during prime time. The zingers on Twitter, the gathering place of the horrible DC press club, were almost as painful as the laughter in the White House.

Of course, within minutes the press corps conventional wisdom had turned 180 degrees from its own laughter, and decided Zeleny was a secret genius, thus putting us in the very uncomfortable position of agreeing with right-wing-screamer Michelle Malkin, over onetime blogger Ana Marie Cox.
