Jon Stewart, 5' 7", wishing Conan O'Brien, 6' 4", well before the fellow late-night-TV Gothamite left for Los Angeles and the Tonight Show. Then they talked about who was more of a freak:

Stewart: I think we should always stand up at the beginning of this [show] for full comic effect, because the disparity is quite stark between our two heights.

O'Brien: I'm a freak. America has agreed upon that a long time ago.
Stewart: I'm not doing so well myself, quite frankly.
O'Brien: But together: magic.
Stewart: Together we average out to two normal-sized human beings.

In fairness, a good foot and a half of the disparity is due purely to O'Brien's enormous head.
