In The Shocking 'Hills' Finale, Spencer Eats Heidi

As much as it has become a punchline for those mocking individuals with little talent, The Hills is a significant part of our culture and we must say goodbye to another installment tonight.
WATCH
The Hills [10 PM, MTV] - The finale, finally! Spencer (Spencer Pratt) and Heidi (Heidi Montag) are visited by Heidi's mom, some sort of aggressive territorial conflict is sure to follow. Meanwhile, Justin (Justin Bobby) takes Audrina (Audrina Patridge) to Palm Springs (probably thrift shopping) and Lauren (Lauren Conrad) and Heidi run into each other. See what we did there? Pretended like they were playing a fictional version of themselves? Moving on...

Late Night with Conan O'Brien [12:35 PM, NBC] - Carson Daly is on tonight. He has a decent sense of humor when he is on someone else's show and there will be a decently funny topic area where Carson will make a joke about not being included in all of the late night wrangling. To paraphrase a Letterman monologue joke from back when Conan got the nod, maybe Carson should've sent a tape over.
TiVo
My Zinc Bed [8 PM, HBO] - There hasn't been an absurd amount of promotion for this adaption of a David Hare play about an alcoholic poet (Paddy Considine) who sleeps with the wife (Uma Thurman) of his boss (Jonathan Pryce), so it could actually be decent. We're not really feeling English people being serious right now, but we'll keep it on the TiVo from when we're coming down from various highs. Also, this sounds like the plot of the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies, especially with Pryce as the heavy, but probably without the chases and fun.

Prison Break [9 PM, Fox] - PB presents its fall finale tonight. We don't really watch this show, but we like fall finales a lot, and a character dies tonight, so that's enough for us to fast-forward to where the dude dies. Also, we want to see some more American Idol commercials because Fox doesn't play them nearly enough.

Today Looks Back 2008: A Holiday Special [8 PM, NBC] -
Matt Lauer, Meredith Vieira, Al Roker and Ann Curry look back on this year's special moments and news stories. It's nice because the four people watching this (including, notably, our friend Patti) can each pick their favorite newsertaintmentcaster and play along with the broadcast. The only good part is the bloopers, but it's doubtful Today can beat this.
