Carrie Fisher Wants You to Get Electroshock Therapy
Oh Carrie Fisher! Who knew back when Star Wars came out that Leia would turn into such a terrific, ex-boozy, electroshock therapy-endorsing hoot? Well, whether you knew she would or not, she did.
The actress/writer/daughter of Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher was on ABC's soft-touch miserable comedy hour The View this morning and talked candidly and huskily about her bout with electroshock treatment and how it hilariously made her lose four months' worth of memory. And that's just fine by her! Stacey Fitzgerald, one of our Gawker videotrix interns, compiled the best moments of the interview. They just don't make 'em like this anymore, do they?
