Ali Wise, NYC's most famous ex-publicist/alleged voicemail hacker, turned up in court this morning! But don't expect to see droves of socialites flocking to Manhattan Criminal Court in the months ahead to show their support when Wise takes the stand. Her lawyers are now looking to cut a deal with prosecutors and avoid a trial:

Dethroned PR princess Ali Wise is in talks with Manhattan prosecutors, hoping to avoid a felony indictment on accusations she hacked into the voicemails of her ex-boyfriends' new girlfriends. The Barbie-blonde society gal was back in court this morning, and stood smiling slightly in her high heels and tight-fitting white wool coat as a prosecutor said his office has held off on convening a grand jury so that the negotiations can go forward.

How close is Wise to reaching a deal? What would the plea involve? Most importantly: Did she wear anything by Dolce & Gabbana—her former employer—when she went to court today?

Per Wise's rep: "Ali's attorneys are continuing their discussions with the DA, so we can't comment any further."
