Prince Harry touched down in New York City today. He paid a visit to ground zero and met with several family members of 9/11 victims before stopping off at a fire station across the street. Then it was off to plant a magnolia tree at the British Memorial Garden and a quick car ride to the VA hospital to visit injured veterans. It was part celebrity visit (crowds appeared at each stop; women screamed "I love you!"); part campaigning politician (he bowed his head at ground zero and kissed a few babies); and part James Bond (dressed in a natty blue suit and blue striped shirt, a contingent of British agents trailed behind him every step of the way). After the jump, a few photos from the first official U.S. visit of His Royal Highness Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales.
